I appreciate the way Cindy took care of me and my hip pain and neck pain. She was kind, caring, showed concern, and helped with my patches and Voltaren cream with deep tissue massage, above and beyond others. She advocated for me and made me comfortable. I appreciate this more than I can say. She is the DAISY Honoree for me plus more.

Cindy has been phenomenal with my mom. My mom has had four strokes, amongst some other issues, in a month’s time. She, at times, has been very confused, and our family has tried not to leave her alone much. When I explained what my mom had been through, Cindy made sure my mom was comfortable. The first night she had her, my mom was in a confused state, not knowing where she was, and said she didn't trust her. Cindy continued to be so attentive to my mom and reassured her. She gained my mom's trust that night, and the next morning, when I came back, my mom told me how wonderful she was. She even told me multiple times that Cindy put lotion on her because her skin was so dry.

The next night, when my younger sister stayed with my mom, Cindy brought both my mom and sister warm blankets. She also checked in throughout the night to make sure everything was okay and took the time to explain to my sister what meds she was administering. When I asked my mom to describe Cindy, she said, “Cindy is kind and attentive. She talks with a soft-spoken voice that is comforting and takes the time to listen to me.” I have noticed how she makes my mom smile. During the course of the past couple of months, we have encountered many wonderful nurses, doctors, and medical staff. However, Cindy has gone over and beyond trying to make my mom and our family comfortable.
