From the bottom of my heart, I cannot say "thank you" enough for the care you provided me before, during, and after my surgery. Having never been through a surgery like this before, I was still a little unsure of the unknown. Please let it be known that the minute you and the rest of the nurses came in, that anxiousness was settled completely. The compassion, empathy, and professionalism you portrayed were otherworldly. As I continue my treatment, I am echoing the same sentiments throughout. When I’m asked how things are going, I’ve responded each time, “It’s almost a breeze because of the people,” and please know, this all started with you. I’ve tried tracking down the first names of everyone who helped me that day. Mainly by asking the front desk when I come in for treatment. So, if I missed anyone, please pass my sincere gratitude and thanks to them. This includes the nursing assistant, the recovery nurse Natalie Stutz (who I am pretty sure I gave a hard time but I don’t remember a single thing), the surgery team who took care of me during my surgery, and finally, the two women who took me in for my CT scan after my surgery. Also, please give my sincerest apologies and thanks to the other nurse [Shannon Herbert] who had to bring in the equipment to find my veins. Not sure what was up with me that day, but rest assured, I’m in the gym each day to try and get more vascular, so that’s not an issue in the future!! Every single one of you is wonderful, and if I ever have to have surgery again, I can sleep well at night knowing you amazing people are there. Please, keep doing what you are doing. Every single one of you is great at what you do. I feel honored to have been cared for by you and everyone else that I encountered the day of my surgery and during my CT scan.
