I am honored to nominate Michele Campbell for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. Since joining the Cardiology unit, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to fostering an environment of inclusion, teamwork, and professional development. She has created consistency of leadership to this unit which as assisted in creating a cohesive unit dedicated to providing outstanding care to our patients and families.

Michele, since her arrival, has had a vision on how to empower and create structure around competency within the team. She has helped inspire the Cardiac Academy, stabilized turnover throughout the unit, mentored a new Assistant Nurse Manager, and inspired ways to help recognize caregivers in meaningful ways.

Her dedication to the team's development, competency building, and engagement has been such a great asset to her team, unit, our patients, and organization.
