I had been to the emergency room because I had a strange accident and got a horrible skin tear on my lower left leg. The emergency room took care of me that night and referred me to the wound clinic in Vacaville. At the wound clinic, the nurse put something on my leg that burned. I went to see Dr. Whitmore about the skin tear and the burning sensation. He took me over to the Nurse Clinic. They greeted me warmly, took care of my wound that day, and for the next eight weeks (once a week). They made sure that I had appointments booked in advance with them. They taught me how to care for my wound, taught me about different medications to heal the wound, and were always so kind and friendly. I will miss them now that I have healed.
