Roy was able to break the language barrier and made my parents feel safe, cared for, and listened to.
My dad was admitted with non-healing wounds and sepsis. I am writing this on behalf of my Spanish-speaking parents, who are very appreciative of the care my dad received while being hospitalized. They mentioned that everyone was kind, the nurses and nurses assistants, doctors, housekeeping, everyone!

Roy is a very kind, noble, attentive, and responsive nurse. He listens to all our concerns and questions. He is always taking the time to answer our questions and teach us about our dad's situation. There was one night Roy was very busy, but he still took the time to stop and actually sit down with my dad and explain the reason they were doing things.

My dad can be stubborn and doesn't listen, but he listened to Roy after he explained everything step by step. Everyone has been nice, but it makes a big difference that Roy could communicate with us and explain everything so we understood what was going on. Not being able to speak English makes things hard, but Roy was able to calm and make sure my dad understood. He had a lot of patience with him.

We give him 5 stars. Being in the hospital is hard, and not speaking English or understanding the language of your care team regarding your own care is even harder and scarier. Rogelio was able to ease that for them. Roy was able to break the language barrier and made my parents feel safe, cared for, and listened to. Thank you for your compassionate care provided to my dad.
