Our mother was admitted after a hard fall. Dara was her nurse, and we were more than grateful. At nearly 91, our mother has suffered the loss of her sight for most part, the loss of feeling in her hands, rendering them nearly useless, and most of all, the use of her legs due to loss of muscle mass. In short, our mother arrived suffering from the effects of an aging body. Dara’s treatment of our mother was filled with kindness, compassion, and encouragement. She brought joy to our mother with a gentleness that caused Mom to feel “seen.” Dara was always quick to address any signs of discomfort she saw in our mother and gave Mom confidence in the face of her fears. We cannot say enough about Dara, a genuine human being, who obviously cares deeper for her patients, giving them not only her professional skills, but also the kind of care only a loving heart can offer. Thank you, Dara!

P.S. Our mother is now in hospice care. Mom was able, in part, to participate in that decision due to the confidence and strength instilled in her by this nurse.
