While we experienced nearly universal good care for our daughter, this person’s service stood out. The time they took to thoroughly explain every medication and procedure would have been sufficient to nominate them, but it was the bond they developed with our daughter that really touched our hearts. This person was extremely patient and understanding despite my daughter experiencing extreme delirium throughout her stay. For a parent to witness their child’s face light up in her darkest hour was heart-warming, and it happened every time this person walked into the room. I cannot imagine a more worthy candidate for this award.

I was fortunate to have this person as my nurse on the above dates as well as last July during my first stay here. They are a ray of sunshine in your beautiful garden of nurses. When able, this person would pop in to make sure my needs were being fulfilled. Their efficiency and sense of humor made even the darkest days more tolerable. This person is a true treasure to the unit!

This person was absolutely amazing with my grandmother. They had the most compassionate care that we have ever seen and experienced. They advocated for her, was gentle and understanding and even made my grandma smile on several occasions. They were very soft-spoken and made sure that my grandma always had what she needed.
