From the start of nursing student experience up until this very day, Molly Engstrom has truly impacted me in every aspect. She has shown a great role in leadership, educator, a support person, and overall just someone I aspire to be as a person and a nurse. She has taught me to be confident in myself and my abilities as a nurse. She has shown me to believe that I am worthy of being in the right field and having full faith that I am capable of becoming an extraordinary nurse.

In office hours, she has shown me different techniques to improve my test scores and studying skills. Within the classroom, she has taught in a way to fully understand the basics of Anatomy and Physiology before even discussing a particular system disorder, which made everything else easier to learn and to retain the information in class.

When I study outside of class, everything starts to click. In the clinical setting, she has given me confidence in applying what I know and applying it in practice. She also gives me feedback on how I could do things differently for things that I struggle with and boosts my overall confidence. Molly leads by example and is an excellent educator. I can only hope that I can continue to show her that she has played a big part in the kind of nurse I will be in the future.
