Lyndsey continually provides wonderful care to all their patients. However, she has a special place in her heart when it comes to patients at the end of their lives. Last week, Lyndsey was caring for a terminal patient. She took her time caring for the patient in a way that left no doubt, this patient passed in comfort. No family in sight, just a nurse. Holding the hand of a stranger during their last breath. A nurse whom I would trust with my life, and just as importantly, death.

Lyndsey continually goes above and beyond for her patients and coworkers. Several weeks ago, she had a patient who was being terminally weaned off the ventilator. The family left, and the patient was alone. Lyndsey did not leave the patient's side, talking to her, holding her hand, and making sure that she was comfortable until she passed. She is the nurse I would want to have taking care of my family. She continually gives excellent care with compassion that isn't seen very often. This one specific time is not the first that I've seen this from her and I'm sure it won't be the last.
