Kari exudes excellence in her care. I cannot commend Kari enough for her excellent care during my grandmother's stay. My grandmother has been admitted 3 times to the hospital in the last few weeks for ongoing issues as she is aging. This last time was for multiple falls.

As a bedside nurse myself, I see how rapidly the elderly decline after falls and how unsafe some home situations are. My family is in an unfortunate situation where my grandmother is currently living alone. Kari worked endlessly to come up with as many resources as she could for me, my family, and my grandmother to get her the care and support she needed at home. She just kept coming back as she found more and more resources and brainstormed ideas.

We went home with so much useful information and are in the process of getting everything set up for my grandmother that she needs. Kari even came to the unit a few days later to check up and ask how my grandmother was doing. Kari provided the most compassionate care and is very deserving of this award.
