I cannot say enough about the incredible care and compassion this nurse has shown our family. My daughter was admitted for a traumatic brain injury after a major MVC. That night I was alone when everything sank in and I was notified she had some changes in her mental status. This nurse was so patient and caring towards not only my daughter but me as well. What truly sets her apart is her genuine kindness and generosity. It wasn’t just about providing excellent nursing care; it was about making sure we felt seen, supported, and cared for as a whole. We had her several nights and I would breathe a sigh of relief when she came in. I have been an RN since 2009 and am an NP as well, and I cannot think of another nurse who deserves this award. Our first three nights here were so, so hard with the agitation, confusion, etc., with my daughter, and she showed pure compassion and love to her and our whole family.
