I first met Monika when she was starting her career. I could see she was a bit overwhelmed. I told her to take a step back, take a deep breath, close her eyes, count to ten, and just remember her training. She composed herself and took great care of me. This time around, I could see the confidence just pouring from her. She would take time to talk to me and calm my nerves. I would ask her for help, and she was more than happy to give it. Not just explaining the medical plan to me but also helping me with the little things. Like when I would ask for a cup of coffee or getting me a snack. She made me feel safe with her and always had a beautiful smile on her face. I wasn’t treated like just another patient who was part of her shift; I felt like she really cared about me and my healthcare. She has come a long way since the first time we met. I’m so happy I got the opportunity to be in her care. The medical center should be very proud to have her as part of their staff.
