I’m writing this letter to let you know how much I appreciated what Brianna has done for me when I was under her care. She took time to get to know me and understand what I was going through. When you’re having as much pain as I had to know, there was someone outside of the family helping me, encouraging me, and overall understanding my situation, which has been a great help. She was a great comfort to me, both in the medical field and as a person. She never made me feel like I was just another patient needing to be tended to; she truly cared. She was very encouraging in every aspect. In the few days she worked with me, she made me feel important. She made me feel I could do anything and helped me to believe I could do whatever was needed of me. She at no point ever stopped encouraging me.

I have an amazing support team with my family and friends. They are my biggest cheerleaders and have been at my side throughout my entire stay. At night was the only time I was truly alone, and she made it seem like I still had family/friends there with me. When you go through something as traumatic as I did, it was really comforting to know that my nurse also showed care and compassion, supporting me every step of the way. I truly believe that had I not had her as a nurse, I would not be as far as I am right now in the healing process. I would have given up, but even as I have other nurses in here, her words continue to carry me through to motivate me to get back to where I was before the accident. The majority of the other nurses were great as well, but she went above and beyond, and I feel she needs to be acknowledged for this. I don’t know if she can see this, but if you can, thank you, Brianna, for all that you did for me. Thank you!
