Nurse Heath then drew blood with a practiced hand that would make any phlebotomist proud.
My day started off on the wrong foot. I was sick with a bad cold for three days prior. I felt miserable, and in truth, I considered canceling my appointment. After signing in at the front desk, I took a seat, awaiting my name to be called. Nurse Heath, after calling my name, then greeted me with a positive attitude and a sunny disposition.

While Nurse Heath took my vitals, she explained what she was doing and the meaning of the results. She was clear and concise, patiently answering my questions, and always made me feel that I was a part of the process. Nurse Heath then drew blood with a practiced hand that would make any phlebotomist proud. Normally, she wouldn't be drawing or giving shots, but the person who does was absent. She then gave me injections painlessly after explaining what they were for. She then accompanied me to the front desk to make sure that I received all my paperwork and that everything was in order. Nurse Heath went out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable and taken care of in a timely manner. The entire staff at the VA medical clinic in Camden is all wonderful, but Nurse Heath shone just a little brighter, and I feel that she should be recognized for that.

Tyneta Heath is articulate, knowledgeable, and kind. Clearly, she loves her job, and it shows in the effort she puts into it. Whether she gets the DAISY Award or not, she will always be an unsung hero to me and to all the people who are fortunate enough to have met her. Thank you for your time and any consideration given to Nurse Heath.
