My husband was admitted with atrial fibrillation, requiring medication and monitoring. We had a scary night of elevated blood pressure and heart rate even with the medication. In the morning, when George came on, he listened to our worries, responded very calmly, explaining the likely reason that this does happen and is a normal occurrence with his condition. We appreciate his attitude of confidence, calmness, and understanding of our fears. Compassion did so much to allay our fears. Our doctor came in and confirmed all that George told us. It meant so much to us to have George take the time to listen to us and reassure us. Hospitalization is a time of anxiety for patients and their families. Listening and explanation of conditions are important skills for nurses. Thank you, George!!

George Domec was an excellent nurse. He was kind informative and very smart. He did not hurry and kept me up to date on everything. If he could not answer a question, he quickly found out the answer. It was obvious that he and the doctor had spoken before the doctor came in. George was absolutely the best. My whole family agreed, we all nominate George Domec for all the awards for great nursing, and he was pleasant and friendly to boot.
