First and foremost, her smile let me know as a patient, “I got you” and you’re gonna be okay. Her professionalism goes above and beyond. The knowledge of her craft as being a nurse made me feel this nurse will take care of me in the daytime and night. I really respect how her coworkers feel when they need her to answer a question and how they are willing to help her no matter what.

My family adored her mannerism and respect for privacy. She takes pride in her nursing field and that’s very rewarding. Her integrity speaks for itself. She’s proud to uphold Penn State Health Holy Spirit’s values. Very rare you come across someone who loves to do their job at helping people at the lowest points in their life being sick.

Her humbleness, respect, professionalism, and love to be the best nurse you can be is above and beyond. She is a great asset to the department and a good person. I’m truly blessed that God incorporated her in my life at this time. I really needed an angel and Shelly definitely always lifted my spirits of faith to get better. She is a great impact on this floor as a nurse and for me.
