She is constantly checking in, even when she is on vacation.
Tina is an amazing woman and my saving grace. As a first-time mom, I had tons of questions. Our twins were born prematurely, so my friends and family didn’t have all the answers to my questions. When we got home from the NICU and went to the breastfeeding support group for the first time, Tina was a very warm and welcoming voice and made us feel right at home.

She continues to put our minds at ease daily. She goes above and beyond checking in on the mother and babies outside of group. On countless occasions, she has reached out to doctors on our behalf so we could avoid extra office visits or to clear up information. She is constantly checking in, even when she is on vacation. Her complete devotion to her work is appreciated by many mothers.

This past week, I went into labor early and had my son at Blessing Hospital. He had breathing difficulties upon delivery and, in one instant, was taken from us to be treated. It was the most terrifying and traumatic experience, but necessary to help him become healthy and stable. This was so hard- we were scared, confused, and lost. I had to wait to meet my son due to his health circumstances, and I was devastated and in a fog.

When I got to hold him for the first time, Tina came to my side to teach and guide me on how to breastfeed my son. Her job was to teach me the skills and support my lactation goals, but she did much more. Tina provided so much emotional support; she stopped and sat with me in my fear and pain, seeing my son in the condition he was in.

Tina took the hardest day of my life and helped my family survive. Over the next four days, while we were at Blessing, Tina came every day and connected with my family, aided in every way possible, and lifted my heart up when I was struggling with the circumstances. You can truly feel with Tina that she is passionate about the role she plays for people, and she carried us through this experience. Tina, thank you so much for everything you did for our family. I have a baby boy in my arms today, and you play a huge role in that! We will never forget your care and your kindness.
