My first birth experience was traumatic. I had a C-section, but the anesthesia didn’t work properly—I felt everything. It was horrifying, and the memory stayed with me.

During my second pregnancy, that fear came rushing back. As the scheduled C-section approached, I was filled with anxiety and broke down in tears on the way to the hospital.

Then I met Amber.

From the moment she walked in, Amber was calm, kind, and reassuring. She took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions, and helped ease my fears. I felt seen and understood.

In the operating room, she never left my side. She held my hand, talked me through everything, and made sure I felt safe. When I started to feel discomfort, she immediately had the anesthesiologist adjust the medication. Her presence was a comfort I didn’t know I needed.

Amber even captured beautiful photos of my baby’s first moments—images I’ll treasure forever.

Because of her, what could’ve been another traumatic experience became a healing one. She turned my fear into peace, and I’m endlessly grateful. Amber truly went above and beyond, and she deserves to be recognized for the incredible care she gave.
