She took the time to sit with me and listen to what I had to say, and she made me feel cared for, valued, and safe.
Bonnie is an outstanding nurse. I’ve had the pleasure to work alongside her as a rehab therapist, and she makes my job so easy. She likes to touch base with all staff members who plan to work with her patients and make sure we’re all on the same page. She knows every patient so well- knows every impairment and can always anticipate their needs before they even realize themselves. She’s incredibly generous with her time. She never lets a patient feel rushed or embarrassed if they have an accident. She treats every patient with utmost compassion and respect, and still finds a way to sneak in a joke or two. She’s always checking in with her fellow colleagues to see if they need help because no task is ever too big or small for her. And she’ll always come to work every day to help people and hopefully change lives for the better. She keeps this unit a well-oiled machine.

Bonnie should be the gold standard for nursing; a stellar human and wonderful person, and I always felt safe under her competent care! It’s a crime she has no DAISIES on her badge! She was a very kind person. She took very good care of me. Went above and beyond what she needed. She took the time to sit with me and listen to what I had to say, and she made me feel cared for, valued, and safe. She took the time to teach me about the importance of moving in bed, propping my legs and feet up. She made me feel cherished. This made my stay so much more comfortable and valuable. I wish she had taken care of me all the time.

Bonnie is a nice lady. She makes sure I'm doing OK and reminds me not to hesitate if I need help. “Just don't forget to push the red button.” Thank you, Bonnie, for taking good care of me.
