Having Kimmo come to work is like having Shrek attend the unit. I mean the friendly Shrek after Fiona warms his heart. This guy is like a 6-foot-7 Care Bear. He is a big softie and works very hard for us patients; he might be the hardest-working employee at Heartland. He has often saved this hospital by working doubles when they’ve needed extra help. He takes care of business when he’s on my unit. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to get things done for me whenever other nurses may not do as much. He is always working when he’s here. He also has a huge heart and cares a lot for his patients, often showing this through his humor. He is one of the funniest people I have ever met and never fails to make me laugh. Kimmo is literally and figuratively a larger-than-life figure but also very humble. He started from meek beginnings to become the successful person he is today, which motivates me to do the same when I get out of here. He has good morals and high standards, evident in how he cares for people. Not only does he do things for his patients, but he also creates a better work environment for his coworkers. I know this because of the way they talk about him.
