Erin Russell is one of the many coworkers I have at this organization who I think embodies all the attributes of a caring, compassionate, capable nurse. She is a jack of all trades, so to speak, as she works in ambulatory care, same day surgery, and PACU, along with serving in the role of school nurse at her children's school. She has the best attitude and a go-getter personality. Her kindness and confidence have a reassuring effect on her patients. She is not afraid to take the lead when necessary, or if she is, she doesn't show it. She is a firm believer in the team approach and demonstrates this in her work ethic and style of nursing. I enjoy every opportunity I get to work with Erin because she always has a smile on her face, a positive attitude, and is a joy to observe as she provides the highest quality of care to every patient she encounters.
