Chris treated him with such kindness and dignity that it often brought me to tears.
My husband was admitted because he was having trouble walking and having trouble with his memory and ended up having to stay in the ICU for like three weeks. Chris was working nights and was often the nurse in charge of my husband’s care. My husband was having a lot of problems, and having night terrors and he was incontinent and just having lots of issues.

Every time he needed to be changed and Chris was there, Chris treated him with such kindness and dignity that it often brought me to tears as I drove home later those nights. It was so nice to have him there, with his bright mood and good attitude and his constant assurances to my husband that it was no problem at all for him to change him and change his sheets or wipe up any mess caused.

My husband was constantly apologizing for these things and Chris would say, "there’s no reason to apologize man, I’ve got you." He was just so amazing with him and I just really appreciated it. It was hard to watch him struggle, and it was just such a nice thing to have somebody be so kind to him.
