My wife was a patient at TMC.  She has been in and out of the hospital for almost the past five years.  It's been really hard for us not knowing what is actually wrong with my wife.  All of these five years, it's just been a roller-coaster with different diagnoses.  When my wife has to be transferred to Tucson (we are from Douglas, AZ).  We always fight for TMC.  During her hospitalization at TMC, Carla went above and beyond to help my wife.  She made me feel that she really cared for her, and I could see her passion for her work while she was attending to my wife.  Carla made me feel calm when I was really devastated about my wife's condition. She made me feel comfortable and was able to talk to her about how I was feeling.  Because I don't have family in Tucson, I was trying to stay strong throughout those long days when my wife was hospitalized.  Carla takes her job very seriously, and I wish other hospitals had people who really care for their patients and treat them as if they were part of their families, just the way Carla does.   Carla took her time to explain to me everything that was done to my wife.  My wife had a huge surgery, and the wound was open, but Carla explained everything to me in a way that I was able to understand.  She even took her time to go and print out some important information about what was going on with my wife.  Carla has been VERY, VERY, VERY professional and went above and beyond to make sure my wife was getting the best care.  THANK YOU, CARLA.
