Even when she wasn't assigned to care for my dad, she checked in on us, offering reassurance and boosting our confidence in his recovery. She embodied hope and compassion, becoming a motherly figure for us when we needed it most. Nurse Fernandez was like a second mother to us, and we will never forget the strength and care she showed.
