My son came in to get a spica cast for his broken femur. He’s three months old and relies a lot on physical comfort. My husband and I were both there, but after five days of taking care of an infant with a broken leg, five days of constant crying and worrying, no sleep, and very little to eat, we were both exhausted. My stomach was reacting to what I’d eaten for breakfast, so I was in a lot of pain and feeling weak. My husband was in and out of sleep.

Bobbi was wonderful, answering questions, responding promptly to requests and needs, etc. What really set her apart was how she cared for my baby when he came back from getting his cast on. I was in a lot of pain, and he was so heavy now that I couldn’t properly hold my son. Bobbi offered to hold him for me, which I eagerly accepted. She held my son close, patted his back, and bounced him up and down. She spoke soothingly to him. My son calmed down after a while of getting the physical reassurance he is used to. Bobbi really stepped up and provided much-needed support when my husband and I were exhausted and desperate. We love and appreciate her. My son was happy and rested because of the help she gave us.
