This nurse came to the rescue for us twice during our stay. The first time, we had been waiting to change out the IV line that was seeping and causing discomfort. When this leader became aware of our predicament, they quickly came in and redid their IV with a smile and a distracting pleasant conversation. Once again, as we were waiting on something else, this leader expedited our paperwork, staged as much as they could to get things wrapped up, and once everything was ready, this leader sprang into action so we could get home that evening! This leader is hands-on. They quickly fill the gap without hesitation. This leader's smile is warm and exemplifies compassion. This nurse is certainly worthy of a DAISY Award!
