The patient’s wife wrote, “My husband had a high risk PCI and was cared for by Jessica in the Cardiac step down unit. She did a fantastic job caring for him and educating us on his procedure. She is very personable and established a great rapport with my husband and me. Beyond her nursing care, Jessica is a wonderful person. She saw that I had trouble walking due to my chronic health issues so she placed me in a wheelchair and helped me get to the front of the hospital so I didn’t have to walk. I didn’t have to ask. She said, no ma’am, you get in this wheelchair and I’m gonna take you to your car. This was such an act of kindness and compassion. She is a blessing!”

Jessica took her time with this patient and explained everything so well. The patient states Jessica is the greatest nurse ever and wanted her to be nominated for the DAISY Award.
