When I came in the unit I was feeling like I was going to die! I felt sad, confused and a little bit angry from another situation in the emergency room. The minute I saw Tetianna, the smile she has on her face, (notice I said HAS, because she always wears her smile). Automatically, my nerves were calm and I felt relief that I cannot put into words. You would have to feel as bad as I did to understand. I saw many nice nurses on this floor, but Tetianna's smile is contagious and healing. It is not an easy job that of a nurse, and I can understand how over the years, every person is "Just a patient", but Tetianna did not make me feel like a patient. Suddenly, I felt like I was home and that everything was going to be okay. I'm sure she had other patients to take care of, but Tetianna made me feel like I was the only patient in this hospital, and I was treated like a lovely family would take care of another family member. YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

I would like to nominate Tetianna!  She was my sister's nurse and had a very positive experience. My sister was unwell and very stressed. Tetianna helped to calm and reassure her of the care and tests she would undergo. She did this with kindness, not rushing, and ensuring my sisters' comfort. Thank you for all you do, with your kind, encouraging words and warm smile. For us, this meant the world!
