Rod is my Guardian Angel on Earth. He has all the qualities to be a perfect nurse. He is very patient, kind, caring, and gentle. His nursing technique skills are extraordinary. Rob was able to manipulate my midline tubing to do blood draws at night when everyone else had a difficult time. He sat next to me and patiently collected my blood.

I was not sleeping well because of all the staff coming in for their checks. Rod was able to combine my checks, meds, and labs to help give me 5 hours of sleep. Then one night, it was so hard to breathe, and he could see I was upset and agitated. He told me stories of when he was a little boy in the Philippines. He had to walk home with no shoes because when he got to school, he left them out instead of putting them in the locker. I have 3 sons, so it was easy for me to think of him as another son. I will always think of him as another son. I will always remember Rod as my guardian angel.
