I met Grace because she was the lead nurse during the delivery of my second child. Grace was one of the most vigilant and caring nurses I have ever had. During the labor process, she took charge and knew exactly what she was doing without hesitation. She showed her experience by keeping my movements on a time schedule and did everything she could to keep me comfortable and help my labor process move along smoothly. She was very detail-oriented. All the while, she was coaching another nurse who was going through her orientation.

My son had breathing problems when he was born, and she kept us apprised of his condition. She helped to allow us to be with him in the nursery and showed genuine care during a scary time. Her personality had me at ease the entire time and she was so positive. I was blessed to have her! 

Then, she returned on shift the next night while I was still there, and I was so glad to see her once again. She asked about my little one, who had to be transported to another hospital, and while others were caring for my son, she kept watch over me throughout the night.
