Lane had a patient, an elderly woman, whose walker was lost during this admission. The patient was very upset about it. When the new walker was delivered to the unit, Lane took it upon herself to go to the AT desk, find the label printer, and create a huge label with the patient's name and number to put on the new walker. Later she sat down in a chair next to the patient’s bed, and she helped the patient download an app and then taught her how to use the app so that she could use her voice to call her son. Lane added such a personal touch with all three of her patients, and it was obvious how much it meant to them all. BWMC is lucky to have Lane!
