I was a 20-year-old ICU patient at Hayley’s, and she provided me with phenomenal care from the start. I was on a ventilator for multiple days, and my family could not stop bragging about the care Hayley provided. The day I was extubated, Hayley was there. My anxiety caused my heart rate to climb, making it difficult for them to extubate. Hayley was determined to help get me off the vent. She stayed by my side and gave me some tough love to help get me to calm down. And it worked. Hayley always had a smile on my face and treated me like a person, not just a patient. I am forever grateful for her. I am also a coworker of Hayley’s, and I know that this care wasn’t the only time Hayley was phenomenal. She is phenomenal for every patient she cares for.
