Antonia Shiplett was my primary care nurse during the day shift. Her care and concern exemplified everything one could hope for from their care provider. She took the time to listen to my concerns and clearly communicated the actions that she would perform to address those concerns. When there were difficulties or delays associated with those actions, she was honest and upfront about temporary barriers that she was encountering and always provided an update regarding the wait time we would likely encounter, which was comforting. Her knowledge of the processes and procedures of the treatment plans my doctor had put in place was clearly explained and followed. She offered my wife and I the opportunity to ask questions regarding my care and confirmed that we clearly understood the response offered for our concerns. Having her as my patient care advocate made a difficult couple of days much more tolerable. I cannot speak highly enough about her as a person and as a professional in the healthcare industry. She is definitely a top-tier nurse!
