He consistently demonstrates how vital it is to connect with patients on a personal level, ensuring that every interaction reflects understanding and kindness.
At APD, we are incredibly fortunate to have JT as our manager. His unwavering dedication, empathy, and caring attitude set the tone for an environment where extraordinary clinical skills flourish alongside compassionate patient care. He currently manages multiple clinical areas, and does so with a smile on his face. No matter who you talk to on campus, when his name is mentioned, an instant smile and often a laugh or a joke will arise. He consistently demonstrates how vital it is to connect with patients on a personal level, ensuring that every interaction reflects understanding and kindness. He will often take on the most challenging situations or patients. This might be a patient complaint or a broken piece of equipment, when handed this challenge he gracefully smooths out any concerns and it almost feels like magic has occurred, because the patient is no longer upset but rather thankful. His commitment not only enhances the team’s technical expertise but also inspires each member of the team to prioritize compassion in our daily work. He encourages all members of the team to expand their knowledge, and to help each other.
Through the years, I have heard countless stories highlighting moments when he has gone above and beyond for both staff members and patients alike. His positive attitude creates an uplifting atmosphere that fosters teamwork while reinforcing professionalism across all areas of APD—whether through clear communication or maintaining high standards within the workplace. Ultimately, it's his unique ability to cultivate relationships among team members that makes APD feel like a family rather than just another job; under his leadership, he has created an environment and workspace where everyone feels valued.
