The staff at this hospital, particularly under Andrew Carwile’s leadership, has set a new standard of nursing that is nothing short of remarkable.

It’s not just the clinical skills or the medical expertise that stand out; it’s the compassion, the empathy, and the human connection that define their care. They took the time to talk with my mother and our family, offering not just medical support but also a comforting presence. They listened to her stories, held her hand, and prayed with her. It felt as if she was their only patient, and their care was personalized and profound.

The morale on this unit is palpable. You hear laughter echoing in the halls, see smiles on faces, and notice a refreshing absence of the usual complaints that plague many units. When I’ve asked for assistance, the staff has been quick to respond, always ready to lend a hand.

Watching my mother’s health decline has been incredibly difficult, but the exceptional care provided by this team has made this journey more bearable. They have not only supported my mother but have also rekindled my own perspective on leadership and patient care. Their approach has inspired me to reevaluate how I want my own staff to embody such values.

As a healthcare professional myself, I recognize and appreciate the level of care your team provides. They truly embody the standards we all strive for in our field.

I have never seen a team that so seamlessly blends professional excellence with genuine compassion. The impact this team has made on my mother and our family is immeasurable. They have given her hope and strength to continue fighting a seemingly impossible fight.

Additionally, I am deeply grateful to Sheri Barrett (the case manager who provided outstanding support), the entire team, including the CNAs and Sarah Mason (Patient Dining Associate) for their extraordinary care.

Thank you, Andrew’s team, for everything you’ve done. Your dedication has made a world of difference in our lives, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.
