Hospital stays can be really stressful and scary. Helen helped ease that stress by taking such great care of my mother. The compassion she showed while taking care of my mom did not escape notice. She went above and beyond to make sure Mom was comfortable. She was patient when we asked for assistance and made sure Mom had everything she needed. She took the time to explain every step. I have been here over a month in the hospital and RN Helen has been by my bedside the entire time. Every day she would greet me and make me feel like a family member. Always executing excellent care. One day that stands out to me is the day of my surgery. Of course, like many patients are scared and worried, I was too. Ms. Helen reminded me that I was in excellent hands and, hugged me, and told me not to worry and that she would be there when I got out. Helen advocated for me like I was one of her own family. The way she showed me empathy and compassion every day. It is hard and stressful being a nurse, but Ms. Helen RN showed the utmost professionalism to me and my family. I wasn’t just a patient; I was her Sister in Christ. We prayed together and she wiped my tears and reminded me that the storm doesn’t last forever, and better days are ahead.
