Jolene Wessel was honored last Friday as the Fall 2024 DAISY Award Honoree! Jolene was nominated by D, who was very thankful for her compassion and kindness during his recent hospital stay.

As D recalled, Jolene graciously purchased his wife a birthday present from the CHCS Gift Shop as he was unable to do so. He was so amazed by Jolene's thoughtfulness and his wife was very appreciative.

They both had nothing but great comments and many compliments about Jolene and others who cared for him during this stay! They both remarked that the care he received was far better than that he had been given in Topeka.
