Romina has been a ray of light for us in the midst of one of the worst situations we’ve experienced as a family.

Not only did she care for our mother with love that moved us, but she also provided support to my father, who was quiet and lost, watching mom become more and more diminished. Her delicate judgment could keenly identify when we needed a squeeze on the arm or a smile.

A lovely anecdote was when, with total generosity, she brought us her packet of instant coffee (bought for her own use) so we could make a better cup of coffee for Dad while we accompanied Mom. She did this without expecting anything, always trying to support us and, above all, to support Mom during her final journey.

Thank you, Romi. We will never forget you. I hope there are more people like you in the world.
