I wanted to nominate Mindy because when my son was hospitalized for having low oxygen levels and respiratory distress, it was a very scary experience for my husband and me. We were just so worried about his health and how things were going to go. Mindy was very compassionate while taking care of our son, and it helped put our minds at ease. She was very educational and helped us to understand what exactly was going on. She was very patient and kind. She checked on us frequently and always made sure we were okay. She also made sure that we had the supplies that we needed. She was a very exceptional nurse, and this is why I think she deserves the DAISY Award.
