Three doctors shared how much Kayla did for them and their patients. She recently contacted the representatives for CGM monitors and arranged for them to come to the clinic and took time to get herself and another LVN educated to better advise and instruct patients. She arranged for samples of the monitors to be in the clinic to get people started on them sooner while waiting for insurance approval. 

She provides her own snacks or purchases patients' snacks out of the vending machines if they have low blood sugar. Kayla has a can-do attitude and never turns down an opportunity to help the providers or patients even at the cost of her own time and resources. She offered to go pick up a patient that couldn't get to clinic. Kayla was sick and stayed home during the day to avoid contact and then came in after hours when she was alone to make sure patient care was not delayed the next day. 

Kayla took the lead on APP week and arranged a clinic-wide celebration meal and individual baskets for the APPs. Always pitching in when patient care is needed.
