Anna is consistently going above and beyond for her patients and coworkers. On one particular occasion, I had a patient with in-depth wound care whom I thought I was going to have to endorse to the next shift because it was a very busy day. Anna had already finished her med pass and documentation for her own patients. She helped me pass meds and change the wound dressings (a task that took over 45 minutes) so that the patient's care was not delayed. That is just one small example of the consistent, high-quality care that Anna provides on every shift.

Anna Verchik has helped me multiple times in the past, and most recent was during a code blue in CCU. The patient declined unexpectedly and needed a lot of interventions. Anna is an experienced, highly skilled, and kind team member. Someone called Anna the "silent angel" because she just appears where help is needed, where patients are in distress, and coworkers are struggling with new equipment or heavy assignments. Anna does not need to be called or asked. She is just there for each of us and our patients. Anna's eyes are everywhere, and her presence and level of expertise are something we all appreciate very much.
