Ally Wilson is an amazing lead RN. She will go to the end of the world trying to troubleshoot a problem for her peers and patients. Most recently, we had a patient come in with a skin disease...Ally combed through the patient's medications, lab results, and online literature research. She presented her research to the burn surgeon and the two intensivists. They were all very impressed with her findings and got the articles she found. This is an example of what Ally does all the time with the patients. She is a DAISY Nurse because of her consistent dedication to giving her best to each and every patient. We are so lucky to have her watch over all the patients.

One of our patients has been battling with a generalized exfoliating skin disease. Ally researched and found several articles. Ally showed them to several doctors on this patient's case. Thanks to Ally's remarkable intuition, scholarly pursuits, and diligent care for patients as one of our primary leads in the Burn ICU, she was able to educate other staff members. This is one of the many instances Ally has done a thorough deep-dive into patients' charts to catch minute details and create learning opportunities for staff members. Her attention to detail is admirable and makes her an amazing, reliable lead nurse. I hope she continues to always be herself and knows that many of us look up to her.
