My husband was admitted to the CVICU for open heart surgery. Estin went above and beyond in his care. He was scheduled to be off the day of the surgery, but knowing the added risks that were involved because of other health issues, he wanted to be the one caring for him after the surgery and came in to work. He was excellent at relaying needed information and even asked what he could do for me. He reiterated that he would take care of my husband but that I needed to take care of myself, too. It has been such a relief to know that my husband has been in such caring and capable hands during such a stressful time for our family.

Estin has gone above and beyond in many ways. He's knowledgeable, caring, and loves his job. My future father-in-law is in the hospital for an emergency double bypass and Estin came in on his day off to see him and keep up with his case and help translate what was happening medically. Estin also helped my fiancé and I do a small wedding ceremony in my father-in-law’s room since he can't be at our wedding. He’s the best nurse I've been around.

My husband's father had a heart attack and was hospitalized the day after Christmas. He was started on emergent dialysis and had open heart surgery the next morning. As a critical care nurse, being on the other side of things was unfamiliar, and I felt helpless. Estin was a blessing to my family. He was patient and kind and went way above and beyond, especially with certain requests from the family - he got it done! He was so helpful in explaining everything to the family so they could understand and gave them comfort in such a difficult situation. I could see how critical my husband's father was, but he was calm and collected under pressure, so intelligent, and put everyone at ease. As a fellow nurse, I am so impressed with Estin and could not have asked for better care from him.
