Maggie took care of my daughter during her stay on a ventilator with pneumonia. Her bedside manner, personality and professionalism were full of compassion, a love for her job and for the people/person she is caring for. My daughter has cerebral palsy, oral facial digital syndrome along with scoliosis and many other anomalies. Maggie never missed a beat in her care. She took the time to listen and learn from my knowledge. She also taught me things and answered my questions to help me understand.

Maggie went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was cared for and comfortable. Even when she was not the nurse assigned to my daughter, she would stop in to see her. At one point, she went so far as to get respiratory to make sure that she was given the opportunity to be turned to spontaneous breathing on the vent to keep her strong. Her kindness and compassion toward all of us were and will forever be remembered and treasured in our hearts. I can't thank her enough for making us feel comfortable and confident in and with her skills. We will never forget her. We all are so blessed to have crossed paths with Maggie.
