My girlfriend of 4 1/2 years had surgery on her kidney, and while she was a patient, all nurses that came to her aid/assistance have been amazing, but there has been one nurse who has really gone above and beyond the call of duty! Katherine Shirley has authentic leadership. She truly emphasizes compassion and empathy; she is all heart, a beautiful heart at that! She listened to all of our questions and concerns and had the ability and knowledge to answer each and every question or concern. She's a prime example of a nurse who truly cares! There's no specific situation or story to address because everyone who has been involved with us on my girlfriend's day has been a beautiful, loving, openhearted blessing! This has been such a beautiful, eye-opening experience for us both!
