Today, Mari went above and beyond to make sure her patient had a safe discharge plan. When Mari took over care for this patient @ 1900, RNs had been struggling all day to find a place for him to d/c to. Mari called the 211 hotline and called around to find a safe place for the patient to discharge. Mari demonstrated empathy towards the patient's situation and used resources to help in any way she could. She consistently shows that she is a compassionate nurse and a wonderful patient advocate.
