She was calm, reassuring, sweet, loving, caring, etc, which helped the process and the pain.
In March, I gave birth to my first baby a week early. As a first-time mom with absolutely no idea what to expect, I was terrified in every way possible. During my whole pregnancy, I kept pushing labor and delivery into the back of my head because of how scared I was. Thankfully, when it became go time, I had the pleasure of having Angela by my side through it all. Angela carefully and in detail explained everything I needed to know. She offered various ways that could help pain while in labor. She helped me in the shower while in active labor to try to ease any pain and discomfort I felt and also helped greatly after delivery, walking me to the bathroom, getting me fluids, and making sure I was comfortable. She was the absolute sweetest and cheered me through every step. I went into the hospital dead set on getting an epidural, and nothing could’ve changed my mind. With Angela’s help through labor, I pushed through the pain, and I ended up asking too late, but it was actually a blessing in disguise because it was the perfect experience, and if I had gotten an epidural, I wouldn’t have known just how capable I am of giving birth. When I thought I couldn’t do it without the pain medicine, Angela reassured me and let me know I could do it. I truly would give anything in this world to relive giving birth, thanks to Angela. She was calm, reassuring, sweet, loving, caring, etc, which helped the process and the pain. Looking back, I don’t recall any of the pain, just how perfect it all was and how nice Angela was. I only hope and pray I get Angela for the rest of my birthing experiences! She is truly the purest human in this world!
