She always approaches us with a big smile, explaining things, especially to my son, in a very supportive not just to patients but also to caregivers or family.
My 3-year-old son was admitted to CEASH for a week. He was very anxious and scared with the idea of being in the hospital getting “shots’’ as he calls them, labs, medication, and unfamiliar faces around him. She always approaches us with a big smile, explaining things, especially to my son, in a very supportive not just to patients but also to caregivers or family. As a mom of a sick kid who was alone, looking after him feels exhausting. They (hospital staff) supported us emotionally and listened sincerely to my concerns. It made us feel like we have a family away from home. She ensures that my son and I are all right. Being at the hospital is scary/ worrisome, but having nurses, doctors, and other medical staff like her/ them eases all those worries. She is indeed an angel in the sick room.
