My daughter is a special needs child, and she has to be put to sleep just to get an IV started. But this nurse, Michelle Wilson, was able to talk her into putting one in without my daughter being put to sleep. She said it didn’t hurt her when she put it in! The nurse talked to her the whole time about animals because she loves animals. Every time she had to give her medicine in the IV, she would talk to my daughter and keep the medication where she could not see it going in her IV. She made her very comfortable and loved her, saying my daughter was so good to me! I really like her! The nurse even stayed longer on her shift to help with other patients whose tasks they needed her to do, but she kept coming in and checking in on us. She went way beyond. You can tell her heart is with her patience.
