We have been seeing Kori at ChildServe for several years now. She is the most compassionate nurse ever. She is always so kind and concerned about our daughter. Several years ago, after our daughter had a medication pump replacement at the hospital, she seemed to be in distress. After two emergency room visits and two trips to the neurosurgeon’s office, doctors dismissed her pain as constipation. I called Kori in tears. Our child was in horrible pain, and no one was listening to us. Kori got us into ChildServe’s Complex Medical Care Clinic right away and discovered that the pump was not hooked up to the tubing in her spine. Spinal fluid had been leaking into her stomach, and no medication was being administered, causing her to experience withdrawal symptoms. Kori is our hero, and we believe she literally saved our child. She goes above and beyond for the children she serves and deserves the highest honors!
